MR CLARKE WILL NOT HAVE THE CHANCE TO BE POLITICALLY SURPRISED BY THE LCA'S
VIEWS

Lee Elswood, owner of Somerset hydroponics, takes Home Secretary and
Norwich MP Charles Clarke to task over his views on cannabis.

I am writing with reference to Mr. Charles Clarke MP and his refusal on any
grounds to talk to the Legalise Cannabis Alliance and its and his
constituents at the LCA's annual national conference which is to take place
at the UEA on the February 19.

His refusal, he has stated, is down to the fact that he has no respect for
the organisation or the people involved . Through his refusal he has (as
many before him ) missed a vital chance to talk directly to the people that
know the political, social and economic implications directly attributed to
the cannabis community.

He would have found if he had bothered to look into the organisation and
its supporters, that the vast majority of cannabis user do not want a
"cannabis for all policy" as most have strict personal policies on age
groups that want or need to use cannabis, as with medical users.

The list goes on and on but unfortunately Mr. Clarke will not have the
chance to be "politically surprised" by the LCA's views and policies.
