Re: The Province's editorial "Vernon killings a sad reminder of the hell
caused by drugs."

Nope, wrong again.

The killings were caused by the law prohibiting certain drugs, not by
the presence of those drugs.

A similarly ignorant editor during the era of prohibition in the U.S.
might have announced that Chicago's St. Valentine's Massacre was "a
sad reminder of the hell caused by alcohol."
