SELECTIVE COMPLIANCE

Norma Sapp (Your Views, Dec. 14) wrote that "Many upstanding citizens 
out there use marijuana. Until they stand up and identify themselves, 
their lives are in danger because of our laws." Shall the next step 
in destroying our culture be in selecting the laws we obey? No 
"upstanding citizens" selectively break laws, especially drug laws! 
Maybe that's why they don't stand up and identify themselves. Sapp's 
approach is like the North American Man/Boy Love Association saying 
many "upstanding citizens out there" are abusing children!
