The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. Firefighters were called to a fire alarm at a house in the 19900-block of 56th Ave. They entered a shed in the backyard of the house and discovered a vinyl or plastic sheeted area. While cutting the sheeting to get at electrical wiring to see behind the screen, two firefighters were exposed to a vapour, Fire Chief Jim McGregor said. The two were "decontaminated" at the scene and were taken to hospital, one with a burning rash on his arm. Langley RCMP Cpl. Dale Carr yesterday confirmed the shed contained a methamphetamine lab. Carr said residents within 150-metres of the shed were evacuated. In addition to the residences, three commercial buildings in the area, just west of 200 St., were evacuated. - --- MAP posted-by: Larry Seguin
