REGULATION WON'T REDUCE METH LABS

I have seen articles in the media about the government controlling the sale
of over-the-counter cold medicines in order to control the production of
methamphetamine. The active ingredient in Sudafed is what they are using to
manufacture this product.

I think by doing this they will create another item for the black market.
This will drive up the price of the product, and be an incentive for people
to be even more discreet, while law-abiding citizens will be penalized and
have to go through some type of regulatory garbage over a sniffle.

It always leads to blaming something other than the source.

Gun control will not alleviate murder, and Sudafed control will not
alleviate meth labs.

This is the same principle as blaming misspelled words on a pencil.
