AADAC is greatly concerned about the abuse of alcohol, other drugs (including methamphetamine) and gambling, because of their potential to harm individuals, families and communities. We offer Albertans a province-wide network of programs with access to information, prevention and treatment services. We provide addictions services in 49 communities, through AADAC offices, mobile outreach services, satellite sites (including in St. Albert) and two youth centres. AADAC assists individuals and families in their recovery from addiction problems through community-based outpatient counselling services, day programs, crisis detoxification and overnight shelter services, parent consultations and residential treatment (for adults).
