LET'S CLEAN UP OUR TOWN

To the editor;

My heart goes out to the mother that you wrote about in the paper last
week (Feb. 7, 2005, Star/Journal), if she can help other kids and
parents with writing that letter she's a hero.

I hope her and her husband have very good luck with their own
daughter. That letter made me cry.

I happen to be one of those people that had all of my jewelry stolen
from my house and other people I know have had it happen to them to.

I believe this has to do with the thief or thieves selling our jewelry
to buy drugs. I am very upset with this as some of my jewelry was
willed to me from my mom.

I cried over this as I don't have one piece of my mom's jewelry
left.

Whoever is doing this is invading our privacy and making our community
unsafe to live in.

You will be caught and I hope it's very soon, so this doesn't happen
to anyone else.

Come on, let's face the facts. We do have a bad (and I mean bad)
problem in Barriere with all this stealing and drug use.

I am willing to join the mother who wrote the letter and help clean up
our little town.

I hope other community minded people in our town that have
grandchildren, children, nieces and nephews as I do will also join in
and help. I don't know what can be done, but we can sure try.

Good luck to the mother and father with their 16 year old
daughter.

Please, any other parents that might have a similar problem don't stay
in denial.

Concerned Barrierite
