PUNISHING COLD SUFFERERS

I was shopping at Wal-Mart in Bristol Virginia recently and was shocked
when I got to the checkout. I don't get to go to Wal-Mart very often, and
when I do I stock up on household items. I buy economy sizes that will do
me till my next trip.

Among my items were two bottles of cough syrup for my kids, a box of
Sudafed for my husband and a box of sinus/allergy medicine for myself. When
the cashier scanned these items, an alarm sounded and the register refused
to scan one of them. She said I was only allowed to purchase a limited
amount, as people were making meth from them.

I was shocked that scum who make illegal drugs and sell them to poison our
community, and make a tax-free profit from them, can dictate what I buy
with my hard-earned money. So I challenge the people in our communities,
the police departments and as far up as the government agencies, to get
this scum out of our way so that we may live free as America is promised to be.
