LEGALIZING POT A GOOD IDEA

Blood has been spilled in the marijuana war. I think every Canadian
should look in the mirror right now and ask themselves why four of
Canada's finest have just died in our service.

The only two possible ways to prevent this in the future are to stop
the use of marijuana or legalize it.

We have tried to stop its use for over a generation, and we have only
achieved the opposite of our intentions.

I think Canada is a mature enough country to safely and effectively
regulate the sale and use of marijuana.

So, everybody, wake up. People's lives are in our hands.
