I am completely disgusted by the American media's reaction to the killing
of four RCMP officers. Instead of sympathizing with Canadians and sending
consoling messages to the families, the officials of that self-centred
nation have focused once again on their own security, and protecting
themselves from "Canada's drug industry."

This is colossal foolishness. The fact that a lot of our marijuana is
exported to the U.S. is entirely the responsibility of the American people
who buy it and smoke it and the officials who fail to stop the trade.

It has yet to be shown that Canadians are running "the marijuana mafia." I
would not be surprised if Americans were involved or even the main
operators. Americans often shift the blame for problems they have created
to others. Americans can do what they want, when they want, wherever they
want, and if it doesn't work out, somebody else is is at fault. That is the
American way.

I apologize to the families of these brave officers for making such
"political" statements at a time like, this but I am completely fed up with
self-centred American bully tactics.
