POLITICAL HIGHJACKING

The deaths of four RCMP officers who went to a farm to recover stolen
goods leads me to call for tougher sentences for thieves. Oh, and
violent acts. Why is no one else in this country calling for the same?
Frankly, I would rather my neighbour was growing pot than breaking
into my house or stealing my car. I would far rather he had pot than a
gun. Why does everyone focus on an arguably victimless crime (pot)
instead of crimes which adversely affect all of society (theft and
violence)? The political highjacking of this tragedy is almost as evil
as the tragedy itself. Canada, I love you dearly, but you've really
got me shaking my head this time.
