In the "Green butter" article, marijuana smokers are referred to as "druggies" and alcohol consumers as "drunks." In my opinion, the connotation presented here is that a "druggie" and a "drunk" are two different entities and should be regarded as such. However, the reality is that there is little or no difference; both are drug users. It's too bad that that this division between drug users exists. After all, tobacco smokers, athletes who use steroids, wine drinkers, Viagra users, coffee drinkers, anti-depressant users, over-the-counter cold remedy users-the list goes on and on-are all, in reality, drug users. Maybe it's time to stop labeling this drug user this and that drug user that and call a spade a spade, which is that very few of us in this country are not some sort of "drug user."
