PRO-CANNABIS FRATERNITY PAYS COURT COSTS OF UKP724

GENEROUS cannabis users have pulled together to pay off Patricia Tabram's
court costs.

The 66-year-old pensioner was ordered to pay ukp724 towards court costs
during sentencing at Newcastle Crown Court last Friday.

Judge David Hodson allowed the widower from Humshaugh to pay the sum off at
ukp15 per week.

But over the weekend campaigners raised money on a pro-cannabis website.

And she will receive a cheque this week to cover the full costs.

Mrs Tabram said: "I was really worried about having to pay back that money.
It is a lot when you live on a pension.

"I very rarely cry but when friends showed me the website I burst into
tears. None of these people even know me, yet they've given all this money
- - I cried for an hour-and-a-half."

The cannabis cooking grandmother left her Tynedale home this week to enter
the election trail.

Mrs Tabram is standing against Leader of the House of Commons Peter Hain in
South Wales.

She added: "I am hoping to spend a week in and around Neath to do a series
of talks.

"I want the people of Wales to be aware of the dangers of synthetic medicines."
