I hate it and it seems that small towns like Welwyn, Whitewood, Wapella, Moosomin and Rocanville sit back and watch it happen whereas bigger centres are challenging it at least. The police are making big busts on the highway but leaving the small towns alone. I am tired of things being this way. I see exchanges of drugs in the middle of the street or in back rooms. How come there is so much protection for users and dealers but regular moms cannot come forward and say anything for fear of a backlash. We live next door to them and so do you. Are your children safe? Have you seen what is going on? I am a mother against drugs and drug dealers. Who else is? I have not heard of any. I would love to put a sign up saying Mother Against Drugs and Dealers on my front lawn. But there is a fear of reprisals. I feel I am alone. Has no other mother this problem? Everything is so secretive. We have a whole lot of family men that are users and dealers. How are they teaching their children? How come people want to waste their money and time on drugs? Is there anyone who cares? I am sure their wives are at their wit's end seeing their loved one literally wasted and not being able to depend on them because they might be stoned at any given hour, not being able to quit, no longer using pot but it abusing them and them, not seeing it because they no longer can live without it. Soon their work habits are changed and they depend on their wives to pick up the slack. How have we allowed this behavior as being normal? I feel sorry for those wives. What a bondage to be in. It is not normal behavior and now my own are headed on that road because someone said at school let's party. My hat is off to Alberta for caring. Where is Saskatchewan?
