LGUs, Policemen Urged to Step Up Drive Vs Drugs

Provincial Board Member Gabriel Luis Quisumbing has filed a resolution
urging various local government units and the police in the province
to strengthen their move against illegal drugs.

This after the World Factbook of the United States Central
Intelligence Agency noted that the Philippines has continued to export
marijuana and hashish to other countries.

The CIA said terrorist organizations sourced their funds from illegal
drugs.

Copies of the resolution have been furnished to the Philippine Drug
Enforcement Agency, police regional office and the National Bureau of
Investigation.
