WE HAVE THE SAME ADDICTION RATE TODAY

When Coca-Cola contained cocaine insterd of caffeine and sold for 5
cent a bottle, the U. S. didn't have a cocaine problem.

In 1914 there was no such thing as illegal drugs, all types of drugs
were available on grocery store and pharmacy shelves for pennies per
dose. Back then, "drug-related crime," drug lords and drug dealers as
we know them today, didn't exist.

Back then we had 1.3 percent of our population addicted to drugs. The
same rate we have today, according to U. S. federal judge John L.
Kane of Colorado.
