COCAINE SHIPMENT SEIZED

Fort Pierce -- Two men were being held without bond Saturday after
powder cocaine worth more than $16.4 million was seized from their
fishing boat on its way to Florida from the Bahamas.

The U.S. Coast Guard boarded the vessel driven by Tristan Michael
Seymour, 22, of Freeport, Bahamas, and Quincy Nathaniel Garvey, 41,
for a routine inspection Friday about 25 miles off the coast of Fort
Pierce, the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office said.

The vessel was towed to a Fort Pierce shipyard, where a dog with the
Sheriff's Office K-9 unit alerted officers to the presence of drugs in
five suitcases on board.
