Ching CITY SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DRUGS Editor: I recently purchase a home in Williams Lake around the 1100 block of North Second Avenue and I am wondering how it seems like everybody in the neighborhood are aware of the drug dealings that goes on except the police. I spoke with a local and he pointed out to me the culprit homes and it certainly gives true meaning to the name "drug stores." A parade of teens can be seen, especially on weekends, in to buy drugs. I always say that if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. So, who is assisting these businesses and turning a blind eye to the situation? Don't the elders of the community have children that they are allowing this criminal activity to prosper? If you don't stop the crime, you become part of the crime, a conspirator. Drugs is like cancer, it spreads and is deadly. We should all work towards stopping it before it reaches close to home. Then it's too late. My father always says: "Play with fire and you will get burned." So why is Williams Lake playing with drugs? R. Ching Richmond - --- MAP posted-by: Richard Lake
