'INSITE' A BETTER OPTION

I am not sure how the rhetoric surrounding "Insite" the supervised
injection site in Vancouver, became a Mailbag topic in Chilliwack, but
I am very disappointed with the negative comments I have seen. I
recently wrote a report on "Insite", and was very impressed with their
accomplishments. I am not going to sermonize about "Insite" instead,
I am simply going to recommend that those who would like to make an
informed opinion on the subject visit the Vancouver Coastal Health
Authority website at www.vch.ca/sis/ For those who are unable to
visit the web site, I leave you with this question:

Which do you consider the better alternative someone who is addicted
to drugs going to a safe, clean environment where he/she receives
counselling, medical attention, and as a result is much more likely to
seek treatment or the same person who going to a back alley to shoot
up using whatever materials are laying around including water that has
been contaminated by urine and feces.
