The undercover officer wasn't injured when the red Cadillac Escalade came at him in the 9:30 p.m. Sunday attempted arrest at Simcoe and Gibbs Sts. Police aren't sure if the SUV driver was hit by any of the slugs, Sgt. Paul McCurbin said. The 2002 vehicle is registered to a 35-year-old Oshawa man. The SUV took off and was last seen in the Taunton and Wilson Rds. area in northeast Oshawa. The driver is male, black, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds. Although police know who they are looking for, they did not release a name or detail the charges. The SUV's licence is ANRH 446, McCurbin said. - --- MAP posted-by: Elaine
