MAKE THEM LICIT

Drugs - Re: "Just say no," Letter, March 22.

We need to legalize all street drugs. Most of the revenue from stolen
goods is used to feed drug addictions. What do you think prostitutes
are turning tricks for? To put themselves through law school? More
likely that $500-a-day crack habit.

Take away the expensive drugs and you also take away the need to
acquire those drugs through crime. "Just say no" just isn't cutting it
anymore.
