POT BILL HINTS AT WHICH PARTY MIGHT BE GETTING DRUG COMPANY FUNDS

I am wondering whether others are pretty tired of reading half-baked
letters in regard to House Bill 149.

Marijuana is considered a drug in this country. Alcohol and coffee
aren't. Neither are all the energy drinks being pushed. Nor all the
cold medicines that are used to make crystal meth. It makes one wonder
why something that can be grown naturally causes people to freak.
Could it be that nobody would be able to profit? The government can't
tax it?

There are so many different types of medications that are supposed to
aid in recovery. Marijuana actually aids in cutting out the nausea
associated with taking those medications.

Equating marijuana with crystal meth is wrong. The move also helps us
understand which party may be receiving funds from pharmaceutical
companies. Big business and government seem to go hand-in-hand with
legislative bills such as this one.

I thought the purpose of the Republican Party was to promote living
our lives without too much government intrusion. My, how times change.
