Detectives said investigations were continuing, but they believed that "standard quality" cocaine was one of the drugs involved in the deaths. A spokesman said they highlighted the danger of cocaine use, particularly when mixed with other drugs. The deaths, which occurred in June and July, were in the Edinburgh area. The police spokesman added: "These tragedies emphasise the fact that cocaine is an inherently dangerous drug.
