LOCAL POT BUST PANNED

As a federal medical marijuana license holder who is also married to 
one, I was shocked and appalled to read the Dec. 28 story, Medical 
Marijuana: Couple In Dark After Pot Bust.

It only serves as further proof that prohibition and the RCMP are a 
bigger threat to public safety than marijuana ever could be.

I would say the Cpl. Martin D'Anjou is a monster for doing what he 
did, but then, he is a Mountie, after all.  This behaviour is obscene 
and disgusting, but hardly surprising, considering The Horsemen's 
mandate.  In fact, if it wasn't for the War On Certain Plants, we 
wouldn't even need the brutal and increasingly corrupt RCMP!

It is obvious to me that this is an attempt to make a public example 
of medical and religious marijuana users.  Picking on the poorest, 
sickest, weakest members of our society?  My, my...Cpl. Martin 
D'Anjou sure is a big tough hero, isn't he?!  Couldn't he find any 
puppies to kick on the way to work?

The only good thing about this bust, is that it will cause this 
dysfunctional, unconstitutional, and completely segregationist 
medical marijuana license program to be challenged in court, and the 
marijuana laws with it!  Just like abortion and same-sex marriage, 
our rights will have to be fought for through the courts.
