Insinuating (as Mayor Bellamy appears to have done) that Carl is "overstepping the boundaries (by his actions) and breaking the law" is disgraceful. Shame on Mayor Bellamy. Next we probably will hear those who criticize Mumpower (including other City Council members) simply say, "Shame on you for caring, Carl." Why don't we support his concern rather than criticize? A positive comment from Asheville Police Chief Hogan at least would have been appropriate, rather than declining to comment when approached by the AC-T. Makes one wonder if politics had anything to do with the criticism Mumpower has received. Could it be? Naw . party doesn't make any difference.
