However, I must ask what was the point of the protest on campus? Does UCF have anything to do with drug policy whatsoever? Or were you all just trying to make us aware of your group? Last time I checked that's the point of tabling at the Student Union. If you want to be heard or make a change, go somewhere relevant, like Tallahassee, or even D.C. Also, don't feed everyone BS. No one has died from smoking marijuana because it's illegal; therefore there have been no long term studies. If any member of this organization wants to sit there and tell me that smoking five joints a day for twenty years will not have adverse health effects, then I would love to laugh in their face. Also, keep in mind marijuana is smoked, and to say it's "The safest drug" is just ridiculous as far as drugs go it's still a drug, you're still smoking something and that on any level is unhealthy again, I'm not against smoking or anything like that. I'm just saying it's almost like you're rationalizing and giving people a false impression. Saying marijuana is the safest drug is like saying lethal injection is the best form of execution. Stop sugarcoating, stop having irrelevant protests on campus, especially when there are tours going on, because I'm sure parents of prospective students aren't as open minded, and do something relevant if you want real change. If not, someone a lot more powerful and significant than some college kid will call your organization out on these issues, and that would make you all look somewhat foolish.
