He is among millions of Canadians who have been lost in media hype and who still have no idea that the U.S. is now a safer place than Canada. Most of Canada's recent violent crime increase is directly related to increasing drug crime. So is it any wonder that the U.S. violent crime rate in 2006 was 473.5 per 100,000, while Canada's was 951?
