MEDICAL POT HELPS HIM

I am now undergoing a second battle with cancer. I choose to use
medical marijuana because of the severe nausea that comes with
high-dose chemotherapy. It also allows me to have an appetite, which
in turn allows me to eat and keep my natural immune system built up
to help me fight off infections that would seriously hinder my
recovery from this life-threatening disease.

I recently learned that there are 1,040 other medical marijuana
patients on this island, and we represent half the state's total.
With 1,040 of us each allowed 3 ounces of medical marijuana and seven
plants each, that equals 195 pounds of legal medical marijuana and
7,980 marijuana plants. This is the current need of the patients at
any particular time. A lot of people use this because of the
nonaddictive properties.

So I feel that we all need to be a little more sensitive to this part
of our community. This law is seven years old now. Thanks for letting
me share my opinion.
