Christina Blizzard's original column was passed among my friends Friday, most of whom have lived in Toronto and Ottawa. It was good for some belly laughs. Although I grew up in Toronto, I have spent the past nine years living in Vanier or the downtown core of Ottawa. From my observations, crack use is much more prevalent in Toronto than in Ottawa. I haven't seen even one person smoking it publicly here but have lost count of how many times I saw it in Toronto over the years. I agree with the Citizen's followup article that challenged her observations. She was wrong. Fiona Hammond-Vincent, Ottawa - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
