GUARDS MUST OBEY LAW

B.C. Provincial Court Judge Ellen Gordon has ruled that Canadian
border guards must abide by our country's laws.

The Charter Of Rights and Freedoms is very special and something we as
Canadians should respect and hold very dear to our hearts. This law
protects all of us.

The Canada Border Services Agency, border guards and their union have
been working under the impression they are a law unto themselves. It
seems they answer to no one.

They treat our laws as an inconvenience. They threaten us with long
lineups and massive delays if we do not bow to their commands, such as
equipping them with guns.

Now they want to continue performing illegal searches and detentions.
This is a disgrace.

Having a judge available to call upon to authorize searches is not a
huge problem. It's the law, and I suggest Canadian border guards start
following it.
