Re: 1967 Is Still With Us, Andrew Coyne, July 21.

Mr. Coyne is right that the music of the sixties is still with us, 
but the world has changed in ways no one back then foresaw. In 1966 
Bob Dylan released "Rainy Day Women #12 and 35," which included the 
famous refrain, "Everybody must get stoned." Needless to say, it 
didn't refer to punishment meted out for adultery.
