THERE ARE MANY BENEFICIAL USES OF HEMP

I would like to address the misconceptions the public has about hemp.
Space inhibits my ability to expound on industrial hemp, so I'll be
brief. It is not marijuana. It is marijuana's cousin, with only minute
amounts of THC. The potency is actually moderated by the higher
concentration of Cannibidiol, rendering the plant virtually incapable
of producing a "high" for the uninformed user.

It's relatively easy to grow, with no need for pesticides or
herbicides. The seeds provide a wide range of health benefits. For
instance, the whole seed contains carotene, iron, zinc and other
valuable nutrients. It is said to be one of the best sources for
essential fatty acids -- Omega 6 Linolenic and Omega 3 Linolenic, both
good for strengthening the immune system. Hempseed oil has many uses
such as body care products, lubricants, lamp fuel, household
detergents and paints.

As for the hemp fiber, it is valued for its strength and durability --
and anything made with hemp is biodegradable. As tobacco use fades
away, why can't our farmers be growing something that would benefit us
in so many ways? Please go to your computer, type in "Hemp Industries
Association" and read for yourself.
