Provincial Police Director Melvyn Ramon Buernafe confirmed there is an ongoing surveillance on some teachers who are hooked on illegal drugs. The provincial police director said they received several reports about university and college professors who are illegal drug users. Buenafe refused to reveal the names of the teachers saying this might jeopardize the ongoing surveillance and investigation. The surveillance was made after Task Force 24 arrested two professors from Silliman University; one is a casual while the other is no longer connected with the university. Buenafe said law enforcers are not singling out Silliman University but it just so happened that those they apprehended were teachers of the school. - --- MAP posted-by: Larry Seguin
