IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DRUGS

Our war on certain drugs are tying the hands of our soldiers in
Afghanistan, but that was by design. The War On Whatever Bush Calls
Terror and The War On Certain Drugs were meant to be continuous and
profitable.

If the West would simply legalize and regulate Afghanistan's marijuana
and opium industries, then the farmers would be rich, the Taliban
would be poor, there would be lots of cheap medicine for millions of
people worldwide, and this war would be over in a jiffy. But
legalizing Afghan opium would cripple the already legal opium markets
of Turkey and Australia.

So basically, Canadian soldiers are dying to protect the profits of
Big Pharma.
