Society wants to keep drugs out of schools but not at the cost of ignoring the constitution. Miller's numerous "fears" are unwarranted and suspicion isn't enough reason to search citizens. Further, drug sniffing dogs' list of accomplishments mostly involve locating cannabis (marijuana) which is arguably not even a drug but rather a relatively safe God-given plant that should be re-legalized for responsible adults. Perpetuating cannabis prohibition is important for the law enforcement community, job security being their union's goal. While cannabis certainly shouldn't be used by youth, it hasn't ever killed a human in over 5,000 years of documented use while cigarettes and alcohol have. Are dogs trained to find cigarettes and alcohol in lockers? Stan White Dillon, Colorado - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
