LOCK 'EM UP MENTALITY DOESN'T BENEFIT SOCIETY

Apparently watching the U.S. lurch toward fascism has given our
glorious leaders some great old ideas of social control.

"Behind the gangs and guns you have drugs,"said Coun. Ron Jones. And
behind all this you have drug laws which criminalize personal use and
addiction, thus delivering the drug market, which is mainstream in
every modern democracy whether you like it or not, into the hands of
organized crime by default.

Are Canadians really stupid enough to keep falling for the "lock 'em
all up" mentality of the police who obviously have a vested interest
in criminalizing all behaviour?

The police don't know how to fix social problems any more than the
garbage collector knows how to fix the environment.

How about if we grow a brain instead and try something other than the
same old rhetoric, posturing and inept social engineering from the
regressive dolts in government?
