INSITE HAS SAVED LIVES!

So Health Minister Tony Clement finds supervised injection sites
"profoundly disturbing?" Excuse me, Mr. Clement, but I find it
profoundly "disturbing" to watch the 150 drug addicts a day in front
of my home and in my yard buy and then "do" their drug, and leave me
the remnants -- whether it be needles, condoms, feces, underwear,
etc. There needs to be a place for them to go instead of
neighbourhoods. A full 79% of physicians and many others that live
amongst this support drug harm -reduction measures, including Insite,
the Vancouver injection site. Insite has saved lives! It has also
decreased disease. With all the medical and scientific reports the
government has received over the years, maybe it's time for our
government to learn and really face these issues.
