My first husband was given sips of grandpa's beer at about age 2 or 3, and got the notion early on. Having had enough made him fall down, and then later he became an alcoholic. He went to AA and stayed sober after he was in his 50s, but still had another addiction, tobacco, which did take him. It is so easy just to follow the easy path, but I hope our grandkids are smart enough to keep that stuff away from their kids, and not fall into the trap themselves before they are responsible for their youngsters' lives. God bless all my grandchildren and your grandchildren. BETTY LOU GEIST - --- MAP posted-by: Steve Heath
