PSEUDO-MORAL FINGER WAGGING

I really object to Friday's editorial on Insite.

Previously published stats in The Province show reductions in
overdoses and health care costs for addicts.

Your editorial is suggesting punishing addicts so we can burden
taxpayers with lots of emergency costs, hospital costs, policing costs
and prison costs -- which will be much higher than Insite's relatively
minor costs.

Whose harm reduction? Let it be the taxpayers' harm reduction! Stop
wagging pseudo-moral fingers in the air and start using fingers to
sharpen pencils on taxpayers' costs.
