Toronto police made the arrest in the city's downtown core on Wednesday after being called about a separate collision. While in the area, a second collision occurred when an impaired woman in a passing vehicle struck a parked car, a police news release said yesterday. The legislation allows police officers to force motorists to perform roadside tests such as walking a straight line if they are suspected of being impaired by drugs. If the drivers fail, they will be sent to a police station and ordered to surrender urine, blood or saliva samples or be subject to a minimum $1,000 fine. Littoya Blackman, 27, faces one count of impaired driving by drugs. - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
