DRUGS THE REAL ISSUE

I do not think we need a crime prevention director to be paid
$63,208.00 to $96,179.00 per year just to control a budget of
$931,859.00 and talk to community organizations about crime
prevention. I think the main cause of crimes in Columbus is drugs.
People are breaking in houses and cars and committing home invasions
and many more crimes to pay for drugs. The Columbus drug busting unit
tries to bust the big drug sellers and not worry to much about the
small sellers.

If a crime prevention director will help prevent crimes, then let's
get a drug prevention director.
