In fact, I think that it needs exactly the opposite and should be completely decriminalized. By doing so, it will help ameliorate prison overcrowding, gangs, complications with medicinal dispensaries, quality, safety, alternative uses, medical research and, certainly not least of all, the right of individuals to ingest whatever substances they choose under their own volition.
