AN INSULTING WAY TO PORTRAY MICHAEL PHELPS

I was offended by Signe's Feb. 5 cartoon of Michael Phelps. Phelps is an
Olympic icon, and to portray him with marijuana leaves as gold medals
around his neck was insulting.

While I don't condone the use of drugs of any kind, what he did after the
Olympics was his business, but he made a huge mistake and he realized it.
There is always someone out there ready to take you down and he was caught
using a drug and someone got the photo.

It looked from Signe's cartoon like Phelps was on drugs when he was in the
Olympics. He has never tested positive for any drugs, and to show him in
that way was insulting to what he accomplished at the Olympics.

Signe, you owe Michael Phelps an apology for that cartoon.
