Police resources, even when combined (RCMP, the enforcement unit, and various municipal police forces), are little match for gangs that adapt quickly, doing what they need to stay in the game. Just as the government of Canada turns to the Bank of Canada to provide them with economic direction, police should go to the Hells Angels for their expertise, effectively contracting the "club" to police the gangs. End of problem. As taxpayers, we expect results from our investment, specifically resources that know what they are doing. You wouldn't hire a painter to repair your refrigerator. Besides, we generally turn a blind eye to government or business dealings that are less than ethical, accepting that this is all part of the reality. The Hells Angels will always be part of our communities. Undeniably, the Hells Angels still have international tentacles and worldwide respect, even from the police.
