FRUSTRATED FELGER ENTERS B.C. RACE

Abbotsford businessman and marijuana advocate Tim Felger is throwing
his hat in the electoral ring - again.

Felger holds an economics degree from Ohio State University, served
in the U.S. armed forces and brought the Dominos Pizza chain
franchise to British Columbia before retiring in 1995. He later
opened Da Kine Books in downtown Abbotsford.

Felger said he is running as an independent in the
Abbotsford-Clayburn riding for the May 12 provincial election because
mainstream B.C. political parties can't adequately address the many
problems the province is facing.

Discussing politics and marijuana, Felger said: "If you really
understand politics, you understand that the shadow government
controls all the main political parties anyway.

"The NDP sold us out, just like the Green Party will when it gets
time to put pressure on the Opposition, so since they aren't going to
do it, you know, I have to do it."

The main issues facing the province are the economy and gangs,
according to Felger. "The reason being is that they are the same issue.

"We're spending ourselves broke with all the military and the prisons
and guns for police," adding ". . . so the economy is going to
collapse and we're going to have a depression."

Felger said problems with gang violence could be solved through
regulating drugs and police interference with the black market that
indirectly creates the violence.

Abbotsford police are doing what the public is asking them to do. The
problem, said Felger, is that police are being asked to do the wrong job.

"When you arrest a bank robber, the robberies stop, when you arrest a
drug dealer nothing changes."
