NEEDLE EXCHANGE ANSWERS POSSIBLE

A downtown Victoria needle exchange, near Our Place and other areas
where those in need congregate, is a year overdue. There are
reasonable solutions if the concern is not to view it from places
like St. Andrew's School. A barrier of pleasant bushes or rose
trellis in Harris Green would make an exchange on Pandora more
desirable. A few discrete trash containers and volunteer
neighbourhood cleaners surely could keep the area pristine.

That site could also operate after school hours or on weekends, at
hours when no student should be near the school. The preventive
health assistance of needle exchange benefits those using the service
and everyone who ever comes in contact with them and is
cost-efficient. It also provides a place to distribute relevant
health information.
