Carl Anderson made a court appearance on Wednesday, applying to receive compensation for 49 pot plants and two kilograms of bud that were seized on May 6. The 40-year-old migraine sufferer is licensed through Health Canada to grow medical marijuana. Following the raid on the Westsyde Road home, Mounties agreed to return Anderson's dope. However, he claims it had been improperly stored and became mouldy. Kamloops provincial court Judge Stella Frame ordered Anderson to meet with the Crown and set a date for a hearing, at which time a decision would be made. That date has yet to be set. - --- MAP posted-by: Richard R Smith Jr
