DA KNOWS BEST?

Jason Lauve is a legal medical marijuana patient that is being
prosecuted by the Boulder County DA. Jason followed every rule of the
medical marijuana registry program, yet he was still arrested and is
being prosecuted. Jason experiences severe pain from an accident at
Eldora ski area, when a snowboarder flew into his back while Jason
waited in a lift line. Jason's injuries are debilitating, often
confining him to a wheel chair. To control the pain, Jason has found
that cannabis works better, is less expensive and has far fewer side
effects than prescription narcotics like Oxycontin. Jason's physician
recommended cannabis to help control the pain. Why does the Boulder
DA think that he knows better how to treat Jason than Jason's
physician? It's time to get law enforcement out of medicine. The
Boulder DA needs to stand up and find ways to protect medical
marijuana patients, not prosecute them.
