EIGHT POT PLANTS PER HOME?

Re: The Tories on pot: Cheech and Chong were never this silly, by
Neil Boyd, Aug. 10
There are common-sense alternatives to Canada's marijuana "problem" and the
Conservatives' Bill C-15 is not one of them. I propose that all
Canadians be given the
right to grow eight marijuana plants at home. They could enjoy the
harvest themselves,
give it to family and friends, or contribute it to worthy causes like
the Compassion
Club . If enough citizens grew eight plants, the market price of
marijuana would be
driven down. This would eliminate large-scale operations and their
huge untaxed profits.
