IT'S A FREE COUNTRY

Re 'Self-medication' (From the Edge, by Anthony Peyton Porter, Dec.
24):

It seems to me that it should be a fundamental right to
self-medicate--especially in the privacy of one's own home.

Adult citizens of a so-called free country should be free to pursue
their own happiness any way they want--as long as they are not harming
someone else.
